The Popular Life Insurance Dhaka Metropolis Open Women’s Volleyball Tournament begins here on Friday (Jan 29).
Wari Club will play Bangladesh Police while Bangladesh Ansars will encounter Dhaka University, both at 3:30 pm on the opening day (Friday).
Six teams, split in two groups, are taking part in the four-day competition.
Participating teams are:
Group A – Wari Club, Viqarunnisa Noon School & College and Bangladesh Police
Group B – Bangladesh Ansar, Dhaka University and Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP).
Later, Group A champions will play Group B runners-up while Group B champions will face Group A runners in the semifinals on Sunday.
