MetLife Foundation and Swisscontact jointly launched a signed project titled ‘Financial Inclusion for Readymade Garment Workers in Bangladesh’ recently at Radius Center in Gulshan. The launch event also featured of a discussion session on financial inclusion, its opportunities and challenges in Bangladesh.
Dr. Nirmala Menon, Head of Designated Markets & Health, Asia of MetLife, and Md. Nurul Islam, Regional Senior Vice President, Head of Bangladesh, Nepal & Myanmar were among the senior leaders of MetLife present in the program.
Representatives of Swisscontact included Anirban Bhowmik, Head of Portfolio & Quality South Asia. Also there were eminent personalities from MetLife Foundation’s partner organizations including Dr. A.K.M Musha, Country Director, Concern Worldwide; Bazle Mustafa Rajee, Director, FIVDB; Md. Mostafa Kamal, Project Operation Manager, DFS Project, Buro Bangladesh; Rocky Roy, Manager, Volunteer Engagement and Communications, Habitat for Humanity; Zahida Fizza Kabir, Executive Director, SAJIDA Foundation.
