Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) yesterday predicted that light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind may occur at different parts of the country in the next
24 hours as of 9 am today.
“Light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at many places over Dhaka, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and at a few places over Rangpur, Rajshahi and Mymensingh divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at isolated places over the country,” the met office said in a 24-hour weather forecast commencing at 9 am yesterday.
