Mercantile Bank Limited inaugurates its 10 new branches in different locations across the country in the same time through Video Conference direct from the capital for the first time in Bangladesh, said a press release.
Abul Maal Abdul Muhith, Finance Minister inaugurated 10 New Branches of Mercantile Bank Limited through Video Conference from Westin Hotel in the capital on Thursday. Fazle Kabir, Governor of Bangladesh Bank was present as special guest on the occasion while Shahidul Ahsan, Chairman of the Bank presided over the grand ceremony. Branch name and location are: Asad Gate Branch, Dhaka (110th); Lalmonirhat Branch, Lalmonirhat (111st); Nator Sadar Branch, Nator (112nd); Sadarghat Branch, Chittagong (113rd); Shimrail Branch, Narayangonj (114th); Goshairhat Branch, Shariatpur (115th); Kankirhat Branch, Noakhali (116th); Mandari Bazar Branch, Laksmipur (117th), Gorai Branch, Tangail (118th) and Gouripur Branch, Ashulia, Dhaka (119th). The total number of branches of the bank comes to a total of 119 after this opening.
