Menon for eradicating drug, terrorism, militancy

Social Welfare Minister Rashed Khan Menon called fully eliminating drugs, terrorism and militancy from the country.
“The present government has achieved remarkable success against drugs, terrorism and militancy, but we need to get rid of these menace completely,” Menon said at a discussion at city’s Wills Little Flower School on Wednesday morning.
Narrating different development activities carried out by the present government, the social welfare minister said, “We are working relentlessly to take the country to a dignified position in the areas of water, land and even in the space.”
“The per capita income under the present government has gone up to USD 1,752 from BNP tenure’s USD 370. The present government is carrying out development activities one after another, but BNP is not being able to tolerate it. They are making criticisms about the construction of Padma Bridge, the win in the case over maritime boundary and the launching of our maiden satellite,” Menon added.
The minister urged the guardians and teachers, who were present on the occasion, to remain alert against drugs, terrorism and militancy.
