Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Rashed Khan Menon on Monday expressed deep shock at the death of former Dhaka University Vice Chancellor (VC) Professor Maniruzzaman Miah.
In a condolence message, the minister prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and said his vacuum will not be filled up easily.
Noted educationist and a former diplomat Maniruzzaman Miah had launched Institute of Business Administration (IBA) and Computer Science department at the Dhaka University, said the minister.
Miah, also a Vice-President of Rajshahi University Central Student Union (RUCSU).
