A memorial meeting on Khandoker Nizamuddin, a former professor of Department of Geography and Environment, Dhaka University (DU), will be held at the department on the campus at 3.30 pm today.
DU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique and Pro-VC (academic) Professor Dr Nasreen Ahmad will be present at the programme.
Professor Nizamuddin died of cardiac arrest on April 14 this year in the city at the age of 80.
Earlier, DU VC Professor Arefin Siddique expressed profound shock at the death of Nizamuddin and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.
