Bangamata Begum Fazilatun Nesa Mujib memorial lecture and scholarship giving function was held at Dhaka University (DU) campus here on Friday.
Begum Fazilatun Nesa Mujib Hall of the university organized the memorial lecture in the auditorium of the hall marking the 84th birth anniversary of Bangamata.
DU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique attended the function as the chief guest with provost of the hall Prof Dr Sabita Rizwana Rahman in the chair.
Teacher of Department of Islamic History and Culture of the university Prof Dr Ayesha Begum delivered the memorial lecture on “Independence movement, emergence of Bangladesh and Begum Fazilatun Nesa Mujib”.
