Hajj Jatri Kaylan Parishad, Chattogram led by its President Ahmadul Islam Chowdhury and the Secretary General Principal Dr. Abdul Karim seen have submitted memorandum to the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina through Divisional Commissioner, Chattogram yesterday(Monday) at latter’s office chamber demanding operation of Pahartali Haji camp as Divisional Hajj Camp . In this connection to operate Pahartali Haji camp, Ministry of Religious Affairs has been asked to renovate the old Haji camp in 2016 by the office of the Prime Minister. After long 5 years, no effective measures yet to be sighted in Pahartali Haji camp.
Meanwhile Saudi Govt has opened Omrah Hajj for the foreign nationals from first Muharram during ongoing Corona pandemic and the devout muslims of Chattogram Division are going to perform Omrah through Chattogram Shah Amanat International Airport.
