Melbourne Stars sign Nepal’s Lamicchane

Nepal leg-spinner Sandeep Lamicchane is on a mission to conquer the world as he adds his name to yet another T20 league, this time in Australia’s Big Bash League.
Melbourne Stars have signed Lamicchane for the upcoming season and with that, it will be his fourth league. The leg-spinner has already played for Sylhet Sixers in Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), ST. Kitts in Caribbean Premier League and for Delhi Daredevils in Indian Premier League (IPL).
The Nepalese youngster is also set to have a busy schedule in December as he will play for Melbourne stars in BBL in two stints. At first, he will join the side by 10th December and then he will fly to Bangladesh to play BPL on 5th January. After that, he will return to Australia to play the remaining BBL games for Melbourne.
Lamichhane will also become the first player from an Associate country to play the BBL. However, he has experience playing in Australia in 2016.
Meanwhile, Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan this will year will play for Brisbane Heat along with his team-mate Mujeeb-ur-Rahman. The three leg-spinners has made a big name for themselves in the last few years with their deadly bowling and consistency.
