Melandaha municipality of the district declared a budget of Tk 28 crore 59 lakh for the fiscal year 2016-2017 on Tuesday afternoon.
Mayor of the municipality Md Shafique Zahedi Rabin announced the proposed budget at the conference room of the municipality. In the budget revenue income was shown Tk 1,08,93,101 and revenue expenditure Tk 1, 86,43,085.
The Mayor in the budget discussion said Tk 4,32,54,348 will come from ADP, Tk 5,49,59,298 from Northern Bangladesh Integrated Development Project, Tk 3,63,48,280 from important urban infrastructure development project, Tk 3,25,00,000 from UGIIP-3 project, Tk 5 crore from climate change fund and Tk 5 crore from Public Health Engineering Department.
The budget session was followed by an Iftar party.
