Mehreen has released her 7th solo album “SE7EN” online which features a total of 10 tracks of different tastes and genres and even languages. The list includes an original track titled “Adho Alo Adharey”, a Nazrul song titled “Ajo Modhuro Bashori Bajey”, and two English songs such as “Take Me Higher” and “Every Breath You Take”. The album is available on Grameenphone’s new digital music platform and fans can enjoy the songs using the telecommunication operator’s services. However, Mehreen is also considering releasing the album in CD and DVD formats.Mehreen sings Bangla fusion. She began her career in 1994, and her debut album ‘Anari’ was released in 2000. To acknowledge her proficiency in music she was invited to grace the seat of a judge for the popular reality show Bangladeshi Idol. In 2008 she became a judge for the band hunt reality show “The Band Wagon”. She released a song about the Bangladesh National Cricket Team during the Cricket World Cup 2011 titled Cup Kintu Ektai. Apart from ‘Anari’ Mehreen has released six albums until now. They are as follows- Dekha Hobe (2002), Mone Pore Tomae (2004), Bhalobashar Gaan: A Romantic Compilation (2005), Don’t Forget Me (2006) and Tumi Acho Boley (2008).
