One of the versatile actresses of present generation Mehazabien Chowdhury paired up with popular TV actor Farhan
Ahmed Jovan in their upcoming
Eid special drama titled
Great Girlfriend.
Based on a love story written by Rajib Ahmed and directed by Anonno Emon, popular face of the small screen Mehazabien Chowdhury played role of Meghla opposite Jovan in the drama. This drama will be released under the banner of CMV on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. In the drama, Jovan will be seen playing the role of Akash.
While talking about story of the drama, Mehazabien said, “The story of the drama Great Girlfriend revolves around two lead roles – Akash and Meghla. One day, the protagonist of the drama named Akash took shelter in a tea shop because of sudden rain. He saw a hand wearing a small ring coming out of
a car and touching the raindrops. Akash was fascinated by the scene. He instantly fell in love with her at first sight. As the story progresses, the romantic story takes interesting turns with hijacking and police.”
Regarding the story, playwright Rajib Ahmed said that the beginning of this story is quite poetic. However, the story twists after the involvement of snatchers and police. Director of the drama Anonno Emon said, “Through this drama we have tried to show how far a boy goes for his love. There are many twists and turns in the drama. I hope the audience will love the drama.” Producer SK Shahed Ali Pappu said that the drama Great Girlfriend is being released on YouTube channel of CMV on
a special schedule of Eid.
