Wahid Anam directed a play titled Chhinno was one of the viewers’ choices among the plays of last Eid-ul-Fitr. Due to his direction and working style within very short time Wahid Anam has already became a successful director in media. For the first time, he made a play casting Lux superstar Mehazabein Chowdhury. Wahid Anam also wrote script of the play.
In the story of the play, it will be shown that one of her classmates loves Meghla. But she never loves him. Once Meghla’s family decided to give her marry to an expatriate person. At one stage, Meghla’s that classmate met that expatriate person who wanted to marry her. Meghla’s classmate then decided to kill Meghla if she could not tie the knot with him. As a result, he fixed a killer and also gave an amount of money to kill that person. Meghla could realise the matter. Story of the play then gets momentum and climax. It is the story of Wahid Anam’s play Bhabo, which is scheduled to be telecast on NTV.
While sharing her feelings to work in the Eid play Mehazabien told this correspondent, “In fact, I have liked the story of the play Bhabo. I always work very selectively. Therefore, earlier I watched plays of Wahid Anam. He makes play very sincerely. I have enjoyed lot acting in the play. I hope viewers will also enjoy the play.” Director Wahid Anam said, “In the story of the play, I wanted to cast Mehazabien because she had that type of quality actress who has an ability to act in role of Meghla. She worked well in the play. She is sincere and dedicated actress. She is now a matured actress. I am hopeful about the play.”
