Few days ago, a drama titled Swapno Dekhi Abaro, directed by Mahmudur Rahman Himi, was made with theme given by popular TV actress Mehazabien Chowdhury. Mehazabien also acted in this play against Shamol Mawla which will be telecasted in upcoming Eid.
This time Imraul Rafat has made an Eid drama titled Better half made recently under Mehazabien-written story. Mehazaien also acted in the play with Tawsif Mabub and Sabila Nur. Shooting of the play was done in different locations in the capital’s Uttara area recently.
Director Imraul Rafat said, “Mehazaien, Sabila and Tawsif are three friends. With these three friends story of the play revolve. I give special thanks to Mehazaien because despite having busy with acting she wrote a nice story for the play. Mehazabien, Sabila and Tawsif acted well. As a director, I am satisfied with their performances in the play. Despite having small budget I have tried my level best to present a nice drama for the viewers on the occasion of coming Eid.”
While talking about writing story of the play and also acting Mehazabien told this correspondent, “Rafat Bhai has tried his best to make a drama with my story. In this play, I, Tawsif and Sabila acted in roles of Labonno, Tonmoy and Dia respectively. Story of the play is tale of our real life story. I believe Better half will create hype among the viewers because there is the reflection of our real life.”
Director Rafat also informed that Better half will be aired on NTV in Eid-ul-Azha. Today Mehazabien will take part in shooting of Imraul Rafat’s another play.
