On the occasion of the upcoming Durga Puja, the Officer in Charge (OC) of Chitalmari held a view exchange meeting with the president-general secretary of the Upazila Puja Celebration Parishad and all the temple committees to keep the law and order situation normal. The meeting was held at the Chitalmari Thana auditorium on Friday.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Chitalmari Thana AHM Kamruzzaman Khan presided over the view exchange meeting. General Secretary of Upazila Puja Udjapan Parishad Olip Saha and General Secretary of Barbaria Union Puja Udjapan Parishad Sanjiban Gain addressed the meeting.
Among others, SI Madhusudan, Amit Kumar Mandal and the presidents and general secretaries of all the puja temples in the upazila were present at the time. During the meeting, OC AHM Kamruzzaman Khan said that this time the members of the local bit policing committee and the mobile team of the police would be on full duty to maintain law and order situation in every Puja temple.
