In collaboration with RDRS Bangladesh HarvestPlus, Zinc Paddy and Rice Traders have been organized at one of the training centers in Rangpur. Rangpur District Food Controller Md Abdul Quader inaugurated the meeting as chief guest on Thursday.
RDRS Bangladesh Rangpur’s Head of Admin and GS Md. Nazrul Gani presided over the function as a special guest. Khairul Bashar, Co-ordinator, Md. Mojibar Rahman, spoke about the new Zinc rice variety, Brie Paddy 100, and working closely with various organizations. Md. Mamunur Rashid, Senior Coordinator (Agriculture and Environment) of RDRS Bangladesh spoke on the occasion. Special guests were present on the occasion. M. Tariqul Islam; Urmi Tabassum, Upazila Agriculture Officer, Department of Agricultural Extension, Taraganj; Md. Shahin Ahmed, Assistant Agricultural Marketing Officer, Department of Agricultural Marketing, Rangpur.
