An exchange Meeting of views on antibiotic control was held at Tarash in Sirajganj. The meeting was held at the Upazila Parishad auditorium on Tuesday morning, November 9, organized by the upazila administration to ensure the use of antibiotic control by drug dealers at the upazila level.
The chief guest and Chairman of the Upazila Parishad Chairman Moniruzzaman Moni was present at the meeting chaired by Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mejbaul Karim.
Also present on the occasion were Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Anwar Hossain Khan, Lecturer Morzina Islam, Sirajganj District Drug Officer Marumoy Sarkar, Upazila Animal Resources Officer Dr. Shohel Parvez, Upazila Health Complex Consultant Dr. Zahurul Islam, Upazila Drug Dealers Association of President Shohidul Kaiser,General Secretary Lecturer Abu Bakkar Siddique, all drug dealers and journalists.
Speakers here said that antibiotics cannot be sold without a doctor’s prescription. Advises all pharmacists present to trade with caution.
