Dhaka’s newest hotel Le Meridien is hosting a weeklong food festival, showcasing the gourmets of the Mediterranean regions, from last week. The event, which has been organised in collaboration with Standard Chartered Bank, is formally introducing the hotel’s Mediterranean specialty restaurant Olea, located on the top floor (Floor No 16).
Guest Chef Khalil Alsaeis has been flown in all the way from St Regis Abu Dhabi to direct the menu and preparation of the festival. The event titled Le Meridien Dhaka Mediterranean Nights also features music.
The event marks the launch of a four-month partnership with Standard Chartered Bank, which allows the bank’s signature credit card holders to enjoy up to 50 per cent discount at the restaurant Olea.
The festival has also been organised in association with Airline Partner Qatar Airways and Beverage Partner Coca-Cola Bangladesh Ltd. n
