Burn and Plastic surgery unit coordinator Dr Shamanto Lal Shen confirmed the information to Banglanews on Wednesday (March 14). He said, a medical team comprising 3 physicians of DMCH burn and plastic surgery unit, 2 of Intensive Care Unit and 2 others from National Orthopedic Hospital will leave Dhaka for Kathmandu at 11:00pm. Earlier on Monday (March 12), A US-Bangla airlines plane carrying 71 people including 67 passengers has crashed on landing at Nepal’s Kathmandu airport killing 51 people.
US-Bangla authority confirmed that a total of 26 Bangladeshis including the pilot, co-pilot and cabin crews were killed in the crash. Moreover, 10 people are undergoing treatment at three different hospitals in Nepal.
