State Minister for Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment Imran Ahmed said medical centers would be set up at all Bangladesh missions abroad to ensure proper health care facilities for expatriate Bangladeshis.
He said this on Sunday while speaking as the chief guest at a seminar organised by National Heart Foundation of Bangladesh at its auditorium here marking the ‘World Heart Day’.
Presided over by Founder and President of National Heart Foundation Brigadier (retd) Dr Abdul Malik, World Health Organisation(WHO) representative to Bangladesh Dr Bardan Jung Rana was present as the special guest at the function.
The state minister said due to various initiatives of the present government, the health services are now at the doorsteps of the common people.
He urged all levels of people to extend their cooperation to the government for preventing various communicable and non-communicable diseases to build a healthy nation.
