Medical camp in memory of Sreejon Lala held

A free medical camp was organised by NGO DCI-RSC (Rights & Sights for Children – Distressed Children & Infants International) in the campus of it’s Medical Center at Kallyanpur in Dhaka recently.
It was sponsored by North Dakota, USA Chapter of DCI in memory of North Dakota’s Bangladesh Communities beloved son Sreejon Lala whom they lost in a tragic car crash.
Three specialists in Cardiology, Gynecology and Paediatrics, namely Dr. S.C. Dhar, Dr. Anjana Dutta and Dr. Masud were in attendance apart from DCI-RSC’S regular faces Dr. Tasnuva, Dr. Mainul, Dr. Sabikunnahar and Dr. Sakhawat.
As many as 230 patients were examined and necessary medicines were provided to them under the Programme. Arrangements have been made for proper follow up.
Braving the scorching heat patients and their relatives cooperated with the DCI volunteers and the camp was concluded peacefully. Role of DCI-RSC and the attending Physicians was lauded by everyone.Among others Cardiologist Dr. S.C Dhar, Professor (Retd.) Chittagong Medical College Hospital & ChiefCardiologist Chittagong Medical Center, Chittagong, Dr. Anjana Dutta, Gynecologist, Chief Medical Officer (Retd.), Chittagong Port Authority & Medical Advisor, Mr. Abu Daud, Assistant Commissioner of TAX, Chittagong, Ms. Salma Qadir, CEO of RSC and Coordinator of DCI, Bangladesh, Mr. JamalAbdun Nasher, Program Manager, RSC and other officials of DCI & RSC were attended inthis event.
Relatives and family friends of Sreejon, near and dear ones of DCI North Dakota Chapter and a cross section of local elites were present to witness the success of the camp.
Management and staff of DCI-RSC were very active and attentive to the needs of the patients which brought valuable smile to their faces and their relatives and attendants were also happy, a sources of NGO CLASS of Chittagong said.
