A medical board has been formed to check up the health condition of Bisnu Prosad Chakrabortty, Bagerhat district based correspondent of TV channel-71 and news agency UNB and former General Secretary of Bagerhat Press Club, who is now undergoing treatment in Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU), according to a report received here.
Prof. Dr. Sohel Mahmud Arafart, chairman of the Medicine Department of BSMMU, has been made the chief of the 9-member medical team. The medical board is now conducting various medical tests of Bisnu Prosad. However, now no specific disease has been diagnosed yet. Earlier Bisnu Prosad was taken to Dhaka by an air ambulance from Bagerhat and then admitted to BSMMU in the capital on March 16.
On March 11 ANM Faizul Haqm DC, Bagerhat visited Bisnu Prosad at his residence and enquired about his health condition. Prof. ABM. Mosharraf Husain, senior most and life member of Bagerhat Press Club and Bagerhat district based correspondent visited Bisnu Prosad at BSMMU on March 18.
