UNB: The results of MBBS and Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) admission test have been published on Sunday with a pass rate of 58.4 percent. A total of 48,448 students have passed in the admission test, said Parikshit Chowdhury, senior information officer of the ministry. State Minister for Health and Family Welfare Jahid Malek announced the results at a press briefing at the Health Ministry conference room at noon. The results will be available on DGHS’s website. The successful candidates will also be notified via SMS in their contact numbers. The combined admission tests for the country’s medical and dental colleges for the 2015-16 academic session was held across the country on September 18. According to the Health Ministry, there are 11049 seats in the 95 government, private medical colleges and dental colleges. A total of 82,964 admission seekers appeared in the examinations.
