Duronto TV is featureing a drama series titled Mechho Tota Gechho Bhoot. This series is jointly presented by Duronto TV and World Fish.
The series consists of 26 episodes and is being aired on every Friday and Saturday at 2:30pm and 9:30pm.
Tota lives with his parents and spends his day with his friend Moyna. They play, roam around and listen to stories by his grandma. His two other friends are actually puppets Itu and Mitu and they always hang out in trees which are why grandma calls them Gechho Bhoot. Her nickname for Tota is Mechho Tota because he loves to eat fish. Moyna, on the other hand, hates fish. The series revolves around the day to day lives of these characters.
The series focuses on the benefits of eating fish, health tips and gender equality.
The series has been directed by Sommyo Nazrul while the screenplay and script has been written by Monirul Islam Rubel. The roles of Tota and Moyna are being played by child actors Ishraque Turjo and Waniya Zarin Anvita respectively.
The actors in the series include Shahiduzzaman Selim, Farzana Chhoby, Tushar Khan, Wahida Mollick Jolly, Shatabdi Wadud, Deepa Khandakar, Priyam Acharya and others.
