The General Economics Division (GED) of the Planning Commission will publish the 8th edition of the report titled ‘Millennium Development Goals: Bangladesh Progress Report, 2015’ on September 16.
The GED will publish the report as the ‘National Poverty Focal Point’ for monitoring the achievements of the MDGs in Bangladesh on the basis of inputs from relevant government Ministries/Divisions and Agencies, a GED official told UNB.
He said the launching ceremony would be held on September 16 at Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel. Finance Minister AMA Muhith will grace the occasion as the chief guest while Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammad Nasim, Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali, State Minister for Finance and Planning MA Mannan will be present as special guests.
