Md. Rezaul Karim, Chairman of Shippers’ Council of Bangladesh presiding over its 35th AGM at Dhaka Club in the city on Saturday. The AGM reviewed, among other matters, country’s trade, transport, shipping and port-related problems in the context of world trade situation. It reviewed the performances of the Council during the last one year which include measures taken for enhancing its services to the shippers i.e. exporters and importers. The meeting also discussed its inter-action with Asian Shippers’ Alliance (ASA) and Global Shippers’ Alliance (GSA). About 100 members and guests attended the meeting.
