DU Correspondent :To mark the tragedy of Jagannath Hall, the Dhaka University (DU) authorities and different organisations observed mourning day on Saturday. Teachers, students, officials and employees of the university led by Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof AAMS Arefin Siddique placed wreaths at October Smriti Stambha at Jagannath Hall.Earlier, at 7:00 am a mourning procession was brought out on the campus from the ‘Aparajeyo Bangla’ that terminated at `October Smriti Stambha’ of the hall.
