Mymensingh City Corporation (MCC) Mayor Md. Ekramul Haque Titu said, “We are determined to make the services of the city corporation fast, accessible and dedicated.” In this context, we have shifted the EPI service to a separate building. EPI activities will be conducted in 33 wards from this building.
In addition, the separation of buildings will make it possible to provide more uninterrupted EPI vaccinations in spacious areas.
Mayor Md. Ekramul Haque Titu said this while inaugurating the EPI service center at the old building of the defunct municipality of Mymensingh on Bisweshwari Devi Road at 5 pm Saturday.
The mayor added that the range of vaccinations to combat the Corona epidemic has further increased.
This building will enhance our capacity in vaccination related matters and we will also be able to use Corona as a vaccination center if required.
During the inauguration, panel mayor 03 Shamima Akhter, councilor of ward 8 Mo Faruk Hasan, councilor of ward 9 Sheetal Sarkar, public relations officer Sheikh Mahabul Hossain Rajib, medical officer Dr Redaur Rahman Khan, food and sanitation officer Deepak Majumder and other officials of the city corporation were present.
