Mymensingh City Corporation (MCC) Mayor Md. Ikramul Haque Titu distributed education stipend checks among the students of the underprivileged community at a formal ceremony in his office room on Monday.

The achievements of the country’s education sector in various initiatives such as the opportunity for women to study up to class XII without pay, scholarships for meritorious people, etc. are appreciated everywhere today.
He added that Mymensingh City Corporation has tried to solve the problems of the marginalized people and the results are visible today. This effort will continue.
Addressing the students, he said, “This stipend proves that the government is with you.” But all initiatives will succeed only when you succeed. Once established, he will come to the service of the country as a good citizen.
It may be mentioned that under this program organized by the city social service office, 25 students will be given education stipend checks and the students will get this stipend every three months till the end of their studies.
