A view exchange meeting was held at Shaheed Shahabuddin Auditorium, Mymensing organized by Mymensingh City Corporation (MCC) on Thursday with MCC mayor Md. Ikramul Haque Titu in the chair.
Mayor Titu said that corona situation is going to be controlled with strong leadership of Prime Minister. But the current situation would not have arisen if we had made ourselves aware.
The mayor urged the councilors to work more sincerely with the officials of various government departments appointed at the ward level to prevent corona infection.
He further said that a quarter is running various propaganda centering on the lockdown. At one time, they also carried out propaganda about the corona vaccine. But the effectiveness of the vaccine is proven today. The real claimant who needs help in the lockdown needs to be found. Not a single person of the country has died of starvation in this epidemic led by the Prime Minister, and will not die in the future.
Deputy Commissioner, Mymensing, Mohammad Enamul Haque said, “We have to work sincerely for the prevention of corona with the help of government officials and people’s representatives.” Each ward will be the focus of work related to corona.
