Chittagong Bureau :
Chittagong Union of Journalist strongly protested the remarks of the newly elected city Mayor AJM Nasiruddin for his comments involving the journalists in drug abuse at a function held at Muslim hall in the city on Friday last.
At the same time , President and General secretary of CUJ Ejaz Yousufi and Hasan Ferdous respectively in a joint statement to press demanded withdrawal of the comments of the Mayor immediately. The statement was told that such type of comments of Mayor against Journalists not expected from a man like him or a well health people.
The journalists demanded immediate withdraw his comment other wise Chittagong journalists will be compelled to take tough decision .
