Mayoral candidates determine to restore sports atmosphere

Awami League supported two mayoral candidates Sayeed Khokan and Anisul Haque of Dhaka South and Dhaka North polls expressed their high determination to resolve the exciting problems of country’s sports arena.
The determination came out in introductory meeting of ‘Sonmilito krira paribar’ held on Thursday at the National Sports Council.
The two mayoral candidates also admitted that the society does not get its proper fulfillment lack of vibrant sports.
Sayeed Khokan said many green fields of city are usurped and many remained useless and he sought all for active cooperation to make the green field useable.
He said he would keep his all out effort to resolve the existing problems in sports arena if he is elected mayor of city poll.
Anisul Haque also echoed the same statement by saying that he would try to furnish the country’s sports in a new look if he is elected mayor of the city.
Anisul said he has already sort out various problems in the city including sports. He also sought all out support to also that to resolve the existing problems of country’s sports.
Dhaka South City Corporation poll coordinator and former minister Abdul Razzak, Parliamentary Standing Committee chairman on Youth and Sports Ministry Zahid Ahasan Rusel, Bangladesh Olympic Association Secretary General Syed Shahed Reza, sports organizers Harun-Ur-Rashid, Badal Roy, Asaduzzaman Kohinoor, Abdur Rahim, Asikur Rahman Miku, Rafia Akter Dolly and Quamrun Nahar Dana, cricket stars Naimur Rahman Durjoy, Habibul Bashar Suman and Minjahul Abedin Nannu, football stars Kaisar Hamid, Elias Hossain and Ashraf Uddin Ahmed Chunnu, former city corporation mayor Badar Uddin Ahmed Kamran and Dewan Shafiul Arefin Tutul were present on the occasion.
