New office of the Newspaper Employees Welfare Society(NEWS) has been inaugurated at second floor of the City Corporation shopping complex in Nur Ahmed Road in city on Saturday night
City mayor Manzoor Alam inaugurated the office of NEWS as chief guest. On this occasion, city mayor said the employees irrespective of status are dedicating their services for the development of newspaper industry and the newspaper employees are the major working force of the industry.
He also expressed hope for any sorts of cooperation to the NEWS in future. Chairman of Banapool Group MA Motaleb was present in it as special guest. President of the NEWS Jasimuddin presided over the inaugural ceremony. General secretary of NEWS Anowar Sadat Murad delivered address of welcome in it.Advisor of the NEWS Sujit Kumar Das and Abdus Sukkur presented bouquets to the Chief Guest and the Special guest on the occasion.Honourary crest of the society were also given to the chief guest and the special guest, a sources of NEWS said.
