The newly elected mayor and councilors of Ramgarh Municipality of Khagrachhari have been sworn in. The ceremony was held at Chittagong Divisional Commissioner’s Conference Room on Wednesday.
Newly elected Mayor Md. Rafiqul Alam Kamal and 9 councilors of 9 general wards Md. Abdul Haque, Shyamal Tripura, Md. Zia Uddin, Md. Ahsan Ullah, Md. Shamim, Md. Jamal Uddin, Kazi Abul Basar, Md. Jasim Uddin Chowdhury and Md. Abul Kashem and 3 women councilors of 3 reserved wards Bibi Ayesha, Konika Barua and Anwara Begum took oath. Chittagong Divisional Commissioner Md. Kamrul Hasan administered the oath of office to the NDC mayor and councilors.
