Minister for Disaster Management and Relief Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya said no anti-liberation forces would be allowed in the country to wage any movement.Maya issued the warning on Sunday while addressing an extended meeting of the City Awami League at the central office of the party at Bangabandhu Avenue here.Criticizing the announcement of launching anti-government movement by BNP chief Khaleda Zia after Eid, Maya, also Awami League’s Dhaka city unit general secretary, said, “You [Khaleda Zia] are not entrusted with the responsibility of protecting the country and the people have not given you the mandate to oversee the country.”Dhaka City Unit Awami League’s Acting President M A Aziz presided over the meeting. It was addressed, among others, by Food Minister Advocate Kamrul Islam, Dhaka City Awami League Vice- President Mukul Chowdhury, Organizing Secretary Shah-e Alam Murad and Office Secretary Shahidul Islam.Party sources said all the thana and ward committees of the Dhaka City Awami League would be formed after the upcoming Eid.
