The first-ever Max-BSPA Night, a gala programme of Bangladesh Sports Press Association (BSPA), will be held in the capital today (Wednesday).
The event will begin at 6:30 pm at FARS Hotel in Bijoynagar.
Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader will attend the programme as the chief guest while Chairman of the Max Group Engineer Ghulam Mohammad Alomgir will be present as a special guest.
The BSPA will honour its senior member and veteran sports writer Hasan Mahmud Bablee and veteran sports journalist cum freedom fighter Mujibul Haque with awards for their contributions to sports.
It will also announce the name of the sports journalist of the year for 2015.
