UNB, Dhaka :
Masum Billah of the daily Samakal and Sanaul Hoque Sani of the daily Amader Somoy were elected president and general secretary respective of Dhaka University Journalists’ Association (DUJA) for next one year on Saturday.
Seven other elected members of DUJA executive committee are- Mahmudul Hasan Mahi of the daily Janata (vice president), Motiur Tanip of Jaijaidin (Joint secretary), Rafiqul Islam of daily Kaler Kantho (treasure), Forrukh Mahmud of the daily Manob Jamin ( office secretary), Touhidur Rahamn of daily Naya Diganta (member), Farhad Uddin of
Bangladesh Protidin (member), Shakawat Amin of Bangla News (member).
The election was held at DUJA office on DU campus around 12 pm, after which the results were announced one hour later.
