Sajib Mahmud is a newcomer talented director. He has started to make a new drama serial titled Hoi Choi Dotcom casting many promising actors including son of
legendary film actor Razzak’s son, Samrat. Bidyut Roy wrote story of the serial while Maruf Ahmed Khan Rizvi is producing it.
Samrat was last seen to act in own directed drama titled Baba, which was dedicated to Razzak. In this new serial, Samrat is playing the role of Tomal. Along with Samrat, Golam Kibria Tanvir is playing role of Rakib, Tanvir Masud in role of Shiblu, Ireen Tany in role of Modhu and Sharna Lata in role of Aduri in the serial. Besides these five actors, Kabir Tutul and Shakila also took part in shooting of the serial at a shooting house
in the capital’s Uttara on Thursday.
Director Sajib Mahmud informed that this 104-episode serial is being made to telecast for a private TV channel.
While talking about acting in the serial Samrat said, “I felt really good to act in
a serial after many days. Trend of making serials has been changed. Many newcomers are working in different sections now. They are working eagerly. For the first time, I am working under Sajib Mahmud’s direction. He works in organized way. My co-actors were very much cordial.”
Actor Golam Kibria Tanveer said, “My character in the serial is different from
others. I am enjoying my role. Everybody is trying to give their level best effort, so
I believe it will become a nice work.”
Actor Tanvir Masud shared his feelings by this way, “When everybody becomes serious about their works there must have possibility to become a nice work. I am
very much optimistic about this serial.”
Actress Ireen Tany said, “Earlier, I had experience to work under Sajib Mahmud’s direction in a drama serial. As a director, Sajib is very much serious. For this reason,
I am hopeful it will become a good serial.”
Actress Sharna Lata shared her feelings by this way, “It is a family story based
comedy typed serial. I am enjoying a lot for acting in the serial. Including actors all are very much cordial while taking part
in the shooting of the serial.”
Meanwhile, actor Samrat informed that from now he will act in TV drama regularly. In the middle of current month, he will start shooting of a faction drama while at the end of this month he will also take part in another serial. If he likes the story, then he will work in movie because he started acting through big screen. On the other hand, Golam Kibria Tanveer has returned from Jaflong of Sylhet after completing shooting of a drama against Dolon Dey.
