Economic Reporter :MasterCard appointed Zakia Sultana Labony as Director, Business Development, MasterCard Bangladesh effective immediately.In her new role, Zakia will lead all of MasterCard’s Financial Inclusion projects along with new business opportunities to grow MasterCard’s business portfolio in the country. She reports to Syed Mohammad Kamal, Country Manager and MasterCard Bangladesh, says a press release on Sunday.Zakia joins MasterCard Bangladesh from Banglalink, second largest telco in Bangladesh and has been associated with top telcos and banks for over 12 years. She was a management member at both Banglalink and Airtel and amongst the top contributing Project Management Officer (PMO) for Airtel migration from Warid telecom. She is a Certified Master Black belt (MBB) from Bharti Airtel, Certified Six Sigma Black Belt (SSBB) from ESI and Member of PMI institute.
