Massive victory for Dhaka Dynamites

Dhaka Dynamites posted a massive six-wicket victory over Chittagong Vikings in their Twenty20 match of the 3rd Bangladesh Premier League at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on Thursday.
Chasing Chittagong’s total of 92 off 18.4 overs, Dhaka Dynamites coasted home making 96 for the loss of four wickets when they had 18 balls to spare.
Dhaka Dynamites made an auspicious start with Saikat Ali and Shadman Islam, the two openers contributed 45 runs.
Shadman Islam top-scored with 45. His 47-ball knock was laced with six fours. Shadman Islam was adjudged the Man of the Match.
Opener Saikat Ali was caught at the long-on by Ziaur Rahman off Shafiul Islam when Dhaka’s score was 45 for the loss of one wicket.
Saikat Ali hit 23 from 17 balls including two fours and a sixer.
Shadman Islam was caught by Ziaur Rahman off Naeem Islam when Dhaka’s total was 91 for the loss of four wickets.
Naeem Islam was the pick of Chittagong bowlers. He claimed three wickets at the cost of seven runs.
Chittagong Vikings faced an early debacle losing three wickets for just 21 runs.
After dismissal of three wickets, Naeem Islam and TM Dilshan were able to make notable individual scores.
Naeem Islam remained unbeaten with 29. His 38-ball innings was laced with two fours and a sixer. Opener TM Dilshan hit 20 from 11 balls including two fours and one six before he was trapped leg before wicket by Mosharraf Hossain when Chittagong’s total was 41 for the loss of four wickets.
New sensation Mustafizur Rahman of Dhaka Dynamites shone with cherry and played the key role to wrap up Chittagong’s innings. He removed Yasir Ali (14), who was caught behind by Kumar Sangakkra off a delivery the ‘wonder boy.’ Tail-enders Enamul Haque (Junior) and Saeed Ajmal were the two victims of Mustafizur Rahman. Enamul Haque (2) was caught and bowled by Mustafizur Rahman. Saeed Ajmal (4) was caught at the mid-on by Shadman Islam off a delivery of the left-arm pacer.
Spinner Nasir Hossain gave a good support to Mustfizur Rahman. Ziaur Rahman (9) was stumped out by Sangakkara off Nasir Hossain. Shafiul Islam (1) was caught behind by Sangakkara off Nasir Hossain.
Mustafizur Rahman grabbed three wickets in the space of 14 runs while Nasir Hossain bagged a pair of wickets instead of 12 runs.
