An elderly mason was crushed under the wheels of a train at Latifpur area of Akbarshah thana in the city Saturday night.
Government Railway Police (GRP) said, an elderly mason age about 56 was killed as a train crashed him under its wheels while he was crossing the rail line on Dhaka- Chittagong railway track at Latifpur area of city’s Akbarshah thana at about 1 am early last night.
GRP police recovered the body and sent it to the morgue for autopsy.
An unnatural death (UD) cases was lodged with railway police station in this connection.
