Mashrafe returns home

Captain of Bangladesh National Cricket (ODI) team Mashrafe Bin Mortaza returned home on Sunday night from Sussex as his wife is seriously ill. Sumona Haque Sumi, wife of Mashrafe has been hospitalized in a hospital of city’s Mohammadpur.
Shahil Mortaza, son of Mashrafe Bin Mortaza is also ill.
After knowing the news of illness of his wife and son, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza got permission from Team Management to return home.
Bangladesh Cricket team led by Mashrafe Bin Mortaza reached Sussex on April 28 to take part in a ten-day long conditioning camp to adapt with the weather and environment of England. Bangladesh will take on England in the opening match of the ICC Champions Trophy on June 1. Before taking part in the ICC Champions Trophy, Bangladesh will participate in a Tri-Nation Cricket Tournament in Ireland from May 12. Bangladesh, Ireland and New Zealand will compete in the Tri-Nation Cricket Tournament.
A BCB source said to this Reporter, ” If everything goes well, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza will leave the city for London on May 4”.
