Mashrafe receives ‘Best Bengali Award 2017’

Captain of Bangladesh National Cricket (ODI) team Mashrafe Bin Mortaza received ‘Best Bengali Award 2017’ at a five star hotel in Kolkata, the capital city of West Bengal on Saturday. Mashrafe Bin Mortaza has been selected ‘Best Bengali 2017’ by the Anandabazar Patrika, a popular daily newspaper of Kolkata.
Bangladesh National Cricket team moved into the quarter-final of the ICC World Cup 2015 and the Tigers stormed into the semi-final of the ICC Champions Trophy, which concluded recently in England. Mashrafe Bin Mortaza led his team from the frontline to earn the most successful achievement ever in Bangladesh’s cricket.
The ‘Narail Express’ has been selected the ‘Best Bengali Award 2017’ by the Anadabazar Patrika for his contribution.
Earlier, Habibul Bashar and Shakib Al Hasan earned the ‘Best Bengali Award’ by the Anandabazar Patrika. Habibul Bashar won the award in 2007, while Shakib Al Hasan got the award in 2012.
