Former national cricket team captain and MP of Bangladesh Government, Mashrafe bin Mortaza claims, he has been cheated. Mashrafe alleged that the SPC group cheated with him. He has sent a lawyer’s notice to the company on this allegation.
In April this year, Mashrafe became the SPC Group’s goodwill ambassador. Accordingly, the SPC is using Mashrafe’s pictures and videos in its campaigns.
After a while, Mashrafe realizes that he is a victim of deception, as the SPC misinterpreted him about the type of business. So he has resigned from the role of goodwill ambassador.
Mashrafe claimed that he joined the organization with the assurance of development activities in Narail. He said, “Last April I was associated with an organization called SPC Group. I had a contract with them, as goodwill ambassadors, they could use my pictures and captured videos in the promotion of their organization. In return, they will work for social development including the installation of 100 high-quality CCTVs in Narail.” Mashrafe said.
Recently, there has been a lot of criticism about the activities of the SPC group. There are also allegations of cheating with customers. SPS has been accused of taking unethical benefits from customers through glamorous advertisements and enticing offers. For these reasons, Mashrafe said he was unable to work with the organization. His two-year contract is coming to an end in two months.
In this regard, Mashrafe said, “Recently I came to know that the idea I was given about their organization is not the type of business they have. So, despite having a two-year contract, I decided to sever ties with them after learning about them within two months.” Mashrafe added in his Facebook post.
