After observing fall for four days at stretch, investors are enjoying the inflation of share price indices at two bourses of the country at the early hours on Thursday (March 3), the final trading session of the week.
DSEX, the key index of Dhaka Stock Exchange, gained over 8.81 points or 0.19 percent to stand at 4470.99 at 11:24am. Trade deals stood at 19826 with volume of transactions at Tk 914.49 million. Of the issues traded, 116 advanced, 99 declined and 46 remained unchanged.
UPGDCL topped the turnover list with shares worth Tk 106.51 million having changed hands. The other turnover leaders were LankaBangla Finance Limited, Sumit Power, Orion Pharma and Quasem Drycells.
Chittagong stocks also followed the suit, with the CSE Selective Categories Index climbing upto 8380.06 by gaining over 11.02 points at 11:18am. Out of the issues traded, 59 gained, 43 declined and 22 0 remained unchanged.
