Mobile court of district administration of Chittagong convicted 4 vegetable venders in the port city with Tk.17 thousand for alleged involved with sellingof high prices of the vegetables.
Mobile court conducted monitory in thre e kitchen markets in the city on Sunday.
These kitchen markets are Bahadarhat, Karnaphuli bazaar and Kazir dweri bazaar.
District administration sources said Executive Magistrate Sharmin Akhter convicted two vegetable venders in Bahadarhat with fine of Tk.7000 for demanding excessive price of vegetable from the buyers. On the other hand Executive magistrate Md. Rabiul Ahsan conducted monitoring in Kazir dweri and Karnaphuli market.
In Kazirdweri bazaar, two vegetable venders fined with Tk.5000 each for realizing excess prices of bangle , gren chilli and cucumba .
