The monsoon depression over Chuadanga and adjoining area of Bangladesh and West Bengal moved westwards and lies over West Bengal and adjoining area at 6 am on Thursday.

The maritime ports of Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla and Payra have been advised to keep hoisted local cautionary signal number three (r) three.
All fishing boats and trawlers over North Bay have been advised to remain close to the coast and proceed with caution till further notice.
