Mardaani 2 starring Rani Mukerji hit the theatres last week and it has been receiving good reviews from the critics as well as the audience. The film revolves around the story of a serial rapist roaming around Kota. Rani, who plays a cop in the film, vows to nab him and therein begins a cat and mouse game. On its opening day, Mardaani 2 earned Rs 3.80 crore, followed by Rs 6.55 crore on Saturday, Rs 7.80 crore on Sunday, Rs 2.85 crore on Monday, Rs 2.65 crore on Tuesday and finally Rs 2.25 crore on Wednesday making the total Rs 25.90 crore.
