Local electronics brand Marcel has launched turbo cooling intensive power saving air-conditioners (ACs) equipped with Intelligent Inverter Technology based compressors at affordable prices in the market as the demand and sales of the cooling products go up at the beginning of summer. This latest technology ACs consume up to 60 percent less power compared to normal air-conditioners, says a media release.
The Met office predicted that this year might be the warmest year in Bangladesh due to the effect of global warming and El-Nino. Environmentalists fear intolerant heatwave would pass through the country as summer appeared just after a month of 50-year-old record-breaking cold weather. As a result, many people are buying ACs at the beginning of the summer to ensure easy and comfortable living.
Md. Ishaque Rony, Chief Operating Officer of Marcel ACs, said the new model of ACs have been equipped with Intelligent Inverter Technology compressors which save up to 60 percent electricity. Besides, Golden Color Fin Technology has also been used that ensures long-life of the ACs. Apart from this, Ionizer technology has been used on Marcel ACs that ensures pure and healthy air of the room through filtering dusts, smoke, bacteria and odor from room air.
